over me
Hello!

My name is Claudia Lezár and I was born on May 29, 1975 in Lower Bavaria.

Professionally I worked first as an office clerk, then a few years as a guard in a security agency and after coming back from 2 years in Tenerife, I went through some occupational re-training and became an operative truck driver.

As an adolescent, my main hobby besides reading was dressage. Through a dance course in school I began with standard and Latin dancing. After a few years break (due to a lack of dance partners) I came across line dancing through my good friend Tom P. Leonhardt in mid-2008. This then became my main hobby.

In July of 2008 in Pullman City I met Markus "Bibu" Riegler-Klinger of the Lucky Liners from Austria. He brought me to ACWDA. At an event in October of 2008 in Schwechat I in turn got to know new line dancers.
And so it came about that in 2009, despite my knee problems, participated in events and workshops in Austria, Luxembourg and the Netherlands and got to know and appreciate Daniel Trepat, Pim van Grootel, Wil Bos, Roy Verdonk and Raymond Sarlemijn as well as Jose´ Miguel Belloque Vane, Ria Vos, Dee Musk, Big Dave, DJ Alex, Roy Faas and others.

Through my filming of the workshops/events I ended up having regular contact with most of them. Eventually I wanted authorization from those in the foreground to upload the clips onto Youtube, and so everyone could get edited DVDs of the events. Many were already allowed to have their own small collections.

In the meantime I got to know some quite well, so that I design, for example, a homepage for José Miguel Belloque Vane, help Wil Bos translate his homepage into German or can also help Roy Verdonk with a few things.

Somewhat simultaneously I found my way to Couchsurfing, a worldwide community for worldwide meetings and cheap lodging. Within my closest contacts there are Rory from the USA and my good friend Harald from Tenerife, at whose place I certainly will stay more often in the future.

On the following pages you will find reports of line dance events I attended, photos and videos from shows (filmed partially by me, some linked through Youtube). The stepsheets show the dances I have learned or especially liked, some with short or longer videos.

The links lead to instructors, associations and societies that I am familiar with. If someone would like to be linked or establishes that a link doesn't work, I would be grateful for notification!

Under the label "Sonstiges" (miscellaneous) you will find photos from Tenerife, my pets and from a visit to Berlin.
